The sudden death of Swedish disc jockey in one of the party hubs in Morjim has raised suspicion, as it came hours after he got into a fight with some people late last night.

Thirty-four-year-old Per Tobiaf Almar has been residing in Goa and played for various night clubs along the northern coastal belt. He was found dead in his friend's room early this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Serafine Dias has ruled out foul play at this stage. An injury mark was on his forehead which the police say is that of a bug bite. "A case of unnatural death is registered at Pernem police station. The body has been sent for post mortem. The report will ascertain his death and accordingly we will conduct investigation on those lines," he told reporters.

The preliminary police probe has refused to link the fight with the death.
