Chilly conditions prevailed in Nashik city with the mercury dipping to 4.4 degrees Celsius, the lowest in Maharashtra during the last 24 hours.
The Nashik temperature has dipped by nearly three degree since last week.
The cold has affected day to day life and grape farmers lighted bonfires in the fields to warm up the grape crop as the cold causes cracks in the berries.
The cold also affected poultry farms, some labourers have returned to their native places because of the cold.
