JSCA invites Narendra Modi for stadium inauguration function on Jan 18

Jharkhand State Cricket Association has invited Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration function of the JSCA International Stadium Complex.

'Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is also the president of Gujarat Cricket Association has been invited for the inaguration function of the stadium scheduled on January 18, 2013,' Media Manager JSCA Manoj Kumar said here today.

Adding futher, Mr Kumar said JSCA has received a verbal confirmation regarding his arrival, however, a written confirmation is still awaited.

'We have received verbal confirmation of his arrival and expect the written confirmation soon,' Mr Kumar said.

Apart from others, JSCA has also sent invites to Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) president Farooq Abdullah, Rajasthan Cricket Association president C P Joshi and Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) president Jyotiraditya Scindia.

JSCA sources said invitations have also been sent to Bollywood actors and actresses which includes IPL team owners, Shahrukh Khan (Kolkata Knightriders), Shilpa Shetty ( Rajasthan Royals) and Priety Zinta of the (Kings Eleven Punjab).

The JSCA stadium will host its maiden ODI when India take on England in the third match of the series on January 19, 2013.

The sale of ticket for the third ODI will commence from January 10.
