Modi sworn in as chief minister of Gujarat

Narendra Modi, who led the Bharatiya Janata Party to a spectacular victory in the recently-concluded Gujarat Assembly polls, was sworn in as Chief Minister of the state for the fourth consecutive term this morning.
The 62-year-old Modi was administered the oath of office and secrecy in Gujarati by Governor Kamala Beniwal at an impressive ceremony at the jam-packed Sardar Patel Stadium here.
Sixteen ministers also took oath of office and secrecy alongwith Mr Modi.
