Cheryl Cole's 220 pound Ho! Ho! Ho! Xmas jumper is 'sell-out success'
A white sweater bearing the words Ho! Ho! Ho! by London designer Lot78 has become a sell-out success after Cheryl Cole tweeted a photograph of herself wearing the design last Monday, it has been revealed.
Celebrities in particular have embraced the knitwear trend, tweeting snaps of themselves looking festive throughout the month of December, the Daily Mail reported.
The 29-year-old singer teamed the 220-pound, on sale exclusively at the luxury online store net-a-porter.com, with a dark fur gilet and her trademark glossy brunette blow dry.
U.S. reality star Lauren Conrad has also been spotted in the Lot78 jumper, giving it an urban edge by pairing it with a pair of black leather trousers despite the LA heat.
London-based designer Ollie Amhurst started Lot78 after 10 years at Giorgio Armani, and the brand has gone on to embody London's urban chic style.
The jumper, styled on net-a-porter.com with a leather pencil skirt, has sold out - but fans of the festive look can re-create Cheryl's look for less with a similar piece from retailer Peacock's online store, www.peacocks.co.uk.
The black knitted jumper sports the same 'Ho! Ho! Ho!' text rendered in sequins, and at a bargain 10 pounds, it will be a lot less painful on the purse.
