Members of Film Forum staged a sit in protest today at Keishampat and later tried to march towards Chief Minister's official residence. They were, however, stopped by police and four actors were injured in police action. Some of them were also arrested by police.

A member of the Forum said the members were waiting for a positive response till 1630 hrs today. However there was no response from the government. A meeting was held and it was decided to call indefinite bandh from tonight. The Forum demanded befitting action against the NSCN(IM) cadre identified as Lt Col Livingstone.

The Manipur Assembly discussed the matter yesterday and Dy Chief Minister Gaikhangam informed the House that the act is condemnable and the state government is trying to apprehend the perpetrator.

A Manipuri actress Momoko was molested and assaulted at Chandel Bazaar High School ground, Chandel district by Livingstone and he shot at two other actors who tried to intervene on December 18 last. Luckily the bullets did not hit the two actors, Prakash and Guna.
