Security personnel killed a key accused in the 2011 Delhi High Court blast case during an encounter in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, said police on Friday.
Hizbul Mujahideen commander Chota Hafiz was killed during a joint operation of Special Operation Group of Police and Army on Thursday.
India's premier anti-terrorism body National Investigation Agency (NIA) had named Hafiz and two other Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, Amir Ali Kamal and Junaid Akram Malik, as accused in the case.
As many as 15 people were killed and more than 70 others were injured in a powerful blast outside the Delhi High Court on September 7, 2011.
