Public sector lender Vijaya Bank today organized a MSME loan mela in the city for the budding and existing entrepreneurs of the micro, medium and small scale industries.
The purpose for the mela was to encourage the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector and boost the Indian economy.
The function was inaugurated by executive director K Ramdas Shenoy and general manger Veera Brahmoji Rao. In their speeches, they emphasised on the role played by MSMEs in the Indian economy and the GDP growth.
They also highlighted the contribution of Vijaya Bank to the sector, specially by launching tailor-made scheme for various classes of society like hoteliers, doctors and traders among others.
In the mela, customers received in-principle sanction from the bank.
