Danny Simpson's dad denies threatening son's ex

Danny Simpson's father Peter Samms has denied that he was "intimidating and threatening" in a bust-up with his son's former girlfriend Stephanie Ward.
He also denied using threatening or abusive words and common assault on Ward's mother Gillian, the Mirror reported.
The 25-year-old footie ace has one child with Ward and has another on the way.
But Simpson is now dating 'X Factor' judge Tulisa Contostavlos.
Prosecutor Rebecca Radcliffe told Manchester magistrates that Samms had been intimidating "in terms of body language and physical movement."
Ward thought that he would hit her so she called the police.
Samms, from Manchester, was remanded on bail for trial in February on condition that he does not contact the two women nor go near their home in Swinton, Salford.
