AISSF, SFJ unearth mayhem of Sikh army officers in Nov 1984

The All India Sikhs Students Federation (AISSF) and the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) have unearthed the 'murder fields' at Tughlakabad and Nangloi where dozens of Sikhs belonging to Armed Forces were butchered to death during November 1984.

AISSF, SFJ and All India Defence Brotherhood (Punjab) released the services particulars and other relevant details of the armed forces personnel killed in November 1984 at death traps laid at Tughlakabad and Nangloi.

The documents obtained by AISSF reveals that a single FIR Number 355 dated November 1, 1984 lodged under sections 147, 148, 201, 302, and 295 of the IPC lodged with Government Railway Police (GRP) Delhi.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) was responsible for law and order at the railway property not only failed to protect but its weapons were also used to kill the Sikh victims at Tughlakabad and Nangloi Railway stations, Lt Gen (retd) Kartar Singh Gill, AISSF Chief Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad alleged here yesterday.

Mr Mohammad, Brig Kuldeep Singh Kahlon and other leaders demanded constitution of a judicial commission so that the truth comes out and action taken against the butchers of the war heroes of the country.

They demanded a debate in the Parliament to determine why the broad day light killings of the defence personnel of the country was ignored and no action was taken against the perpetrators. Also asking for the appointment of the high ranking army officer of the defence ministry to probe the killing of these high ranking officers.
