BSNL employees stage 'dharna' in Maharashtra

All officers and workers of BSNL held 'dharna' in front of BSNL office in the city today for the second day for their various demands.
They are demanding that all senior officers who are on deputation from Department of Telecom should join Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) as employees.
"Since they are not regular employees, this has helped private operators and defamed BSNL among public," said Shridhar Bhad, Maharashtra Circle President of BSNL Officers Association.
