No headway in Delhi tax lawyer's murder
Delhi Police is yet to get any leads on the murder of tax lawyer Subhash Gupta, who was found dead early Friday in his office in east Delhi.
Gupta's naked body was found at 12.30 a.m. Friday with his hands and legs tied.
His mobile and wallet were missing.
"We are probing all possible angles. We have certain clues," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Asif Mohammad Ali told IANS.
Police suspect enmity for Gupta's murder. They have questioned Gupta's accountant K.C. Sharma, who told police he left the office at 8 p.m. Thursday while Gupta was to leave around 8:30 p.m.
Police have questioned several relatives and friends of Gupta.
Gupta lived at Anand Vihar and was the president of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of his locality. He headed the local Indraprastha Ramlila committee.
