NE Riders Meet reaches Nagaland Hornbill Festival
The North East Riders Meet 2012 today culminated in the Naga Heritage Village Kisama at 12 noon with around 200 Royal Enfield bikers from the North East and invitees from mainland India took part in the rally.
The motor cycle rally was organized by Nagaland Motorcycle Club under the Theme 'North East Friendship Rally,' which was earlier flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur N Hushili Sema at the Agri Expo Site at Dimapur this morning.
The motorcycle rally, the North East Riders' Meet-2012 (NERM), which has been organized as a part of the ongoing Nagaland Hornbill Festival at Kisama.
After the function at Kisama, the motorcycle rally was proceeding to New High Court Ground at Merima, near Kohima, where it was finally culminated. There was also be a raffle draw where a lucky rider among the registered entries got a prize of Royal Enfield-350.
The NERM is an annual event, where Royal Enfield riders from the North East and invitees from other states, get together with their Royal Enfield Bullets. The first meet was held on August 22, 2009, in Kaziranga, Assam.
