Locket opens designers' haat
To celebrate the chilly winter and wedding season full with fashion extravaganza, trade fair body Fayre Media launched the first Indian Designer's Haat on Tuesday at Ice Skating Rink here.
Tollywood actor Locket Chatterjee celebrating her birthday on the same day and draped in a yellow traditional Bangladeshi dhakai saree lit the inaugural lamps for the three-day exhibition from Dec 4 to 6.
The fashion mart would exhibit some wonderful collections of traditional and trendy costume jewellery and traditional pieces in sarees and anarkali suits and winter wears all over the country and even from Bangladesh.
There stalls from every states of India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Locket cut her surprise birthday cake over there and said, "I am truly surprised to see the astonishing collections in jewellery and sarees. My personal favourite would be the home decor as I love to decorate my house with variety of different and unique items. "
The stalls that draw attraction are Ghar Angana, Sree Ganesh Jewellery, Bal Hanuman, Black Magic, Sitara, Chitra Goenka etc. There is even a chocolate stall full with imported chocolates called Wonderr Chocolates.
Exclusive Kashmiri blankets, Pashmina shawls, stoles, gifts, accessories, foot wares, bags, clutches, and tunics are eye catchers and would match with the moods of the fashionistas. --IBNS
