Ronan Keating raises USD 1 mn funds for charity
Singer Ronan Keating managed to raise a whopping USD 1 million for charity with his seventh annual benefit concert.
The Irish star hosted the fundraiser here Saturday.
He invited a host of pop stars to perform at his Emeralds and Ivy Ball, including band Lawson and former Catatonia frontwoman Cerys Matthews, reports contactmusic.com.
Keating also hit the stage for a short set, which included a duet with Matthews on Christmas classic "Fairytale of New York".
The event, held at Supernova here, pulled in USD 1.4 million for Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation, which the singer set up after losing his mother to the disease.
