Ponty Chadha case: Court extends police custody of Namdhari for three more days
A Delhi court has extended the police custody of Sukhdev Singh Namdhari for three more days in connection with the November 17 murders of liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep Chadha.
Both were shot dead at one of their Chhattarpur farmhouses over a property dispute.
Former Uttarakhand Minorities Commission chairman Namdhari was earlier booked for the murder of Hardeep Chadha by the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police.
Namdhari was arrested at his farmhouse in Uttarakhand November 23.
Namdhari, an eyewitness to the event, has been booked under Section 302 (murder) for Hardeep's murder.
