Liverpool winger Suso slammed by fans for calling teammate 'gay' on Twitter

Liverpool midfielder Suso Fernandez was blasted by his own fans after the young winger posted a picture of teammate Jose Enrique on his Twitter account, calling him a gay.
Suso posted a snap of defender Enrique, having his teeth whitened, and wrote: "What f*** is he doing ?... This guy is gay. He has some mentals problems. He does everything except play football."
In reply to the tweet, many Liverpool fans lambasted Suso to not use such language.
"Please don't use the word gay as a put down," the Sun quoted a fan, as replying to Suso.
Another fan Ed Whitfield added: "Being gay isn't a mental illness."
Suso quickly removed the message and tweeted: "I didn't mean it in that way about 'gay'. Don't want anyone to feel offended. Just joking. But anyway sorry."
