Cheryl Cole 'meets Simon Cowell in bid to rescue 'X Factor'

Cheryl Cole secretly met Simon Cowell at his Los Angeles mansion and spent three and a half hours there with him after arriving in a blacked-out car at 8 pm on Wednesday, it has been revealed.
It's believed that the two may have talked about the 29-year-old singer's potential return to 'X Factor,' the Mirror reported.
Apparently, the 53-year-old media mogul is keen to get her back on the panel to "re-invigorate" the show.
Their meeting comes 18 months after he sacked her from the US version of the blockbuster - sparking an all-out war.
However, a source close to Cowell insisted that the pair were just "shooting the breeze."
"He's very fond of Cheryl. They've met up a few times in the last 18 months.
"This could pave the way for conversations down the line about X Factor but it wasn't about that," the source added.
