Pranab conveys felicitations to Mexican President
New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS)
President Pranab Mukherjee has conveyed 'warm' felicitations to Enrique Pena Nieto on his election and assumption of office as the President of the United Mexican States.
In his message the President said that India and Mexico enjoy warm and friendly relations and that it is a matter of satisfaction that relations between the two countries are based on shared values of democracy, rule of law and pluralism and have evolved significantly and successfully into a 'Privileged Partnership' with well established institutional mechanisms.
Mukherjee said that he looked forward to working with the Mexican President towards further consolidation and development of the multi-dimensional partnership between the two countries, in the years ahead.
He also extended an invitation to the Mexican President to visit India at a mutually convenient date.
