All the examinations scheduled to be held today have been postponed in view of the indefinite curfew restrictions imposed by the authorities in the areas falling under nine police stations in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Controller of examinations Kashmir University, all the Kashmir University (KU) examinations scheduled to be held today have been postponed.
Fresh dates will be notified separately, he said.
Meanwhile, curfew restriction has badly affected the working of educational institutions in Srinagar.
Many schools even in curfew free areas also remained closed while others had very less students as teaching and other staff, besides students, coming from curfew-bound areas could not make it to their institutions.
