16 detained for Audi break-ins in China

Sixteen people suspected of stealing belongings exclusively from Audi A6 cars have been detained by Beijing's Xicheng district police, a media report said.
Since July, many Audi A6 owners had reported the thefts but no damage to the vehicles, the Global Times said Wednesday.
Police arrested 14 suspects in September and two others Nov 2. The suspects admitted that they had bought specialised equipment online to unlock the cars.
