The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Pakistan will decrease by about Rs.40 per kg after a new energy policy is implemented next month, an official said.

Chairman of LPG distributors association Irfan Khokar said the country will import tens of thousands of tonnes of LPG to meet the demands that would bring down the prices, the Nation reported Friday.

Khokar said the new policy for liquefied petroleum gas will bring relief to the masses.
