Hours after former NSG Commando Surender Singh alleged that he had not been paid compensation after the 26/11, 2008, Mumbai mayhem, the Defence Ministry was quick to dismiss the charges as "not correct" and made it clear that Government had taken all care to pay him all terminal benefits.
However, if he still had any grievances, the government was prepared to look into it, the Ministry said in a statement.
Speaking at a press conference along with India Against Corruption (IAC) leader Arvind Kejriwal today, ex-NSG Commando, N K Surender Singh of 2 grenadiers, alleged lack of adequate compensation and financial benefits to those killed/injured in the 26/11, Operation Black Tornado in Mumbai.
The issue was raised a day after Pakistan-trained terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab, who was arrested during the 28/11 Mumbai operation, was secretly hanged and hastily buried in Pune's Yerwada jail.
