Ponty case: Four arrested for trespassing
The Delhi Police on Tuesday said four people have been arrested for trespassing at the farmhouse in south Delhi's Chattarpur area where liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep were killed on Saturday.
The police said private security guards of Chadha have been arrested.
According to reports, a group men that included the arrested people, entered the farmhouse on Saturday and allegedly beat up Hardeep's men.
They even threw them out of the farmhouse.
Pertinently, the incident occurred before the shootout at the same venue that killed Chadha and his brother.
No arrests, however, have been made in connection to the murder of two brothers.
Several people have been detained for questioning, but no one has so far been arrested, said reports.
The police have already registered two FIRs and detained at least 15 people in connection with the death of Chadha and his brother Hardeep, who were killed in the shootout between their groups inside their farmhouse on Saturday.
Sources told media that Hardeep first shot Chadha and the liquor baron's gunmen fired back at him.
Chadha was brought to hospital at around 1 pm where he was declared dead.
According to reports, 12 bullet wounds were found in Chadha's body while his brother got four wounds.
Chadha's business empire is worth Rs 6000 crore.
"There was a family dispute that was there," Gaurav Kanth, who was lawyer of Chadha's brother Hardeep, earlier said. He said there were issues but he was not sure of what exactly caused a flash point.
Chadha and his two brothers also owned the Chadha Group, which was consolidated under the Wave brand.
