Sunny, nippy Monday in capital
It was a sunny yet nippy Monday in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 12.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met Office has forecast a clear day Tuesday.
"Tuesday morning will see a shallow fog cover. But the day will be clear," an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature Monday reached 27.7 degrees Celsius and the humidity wavered between 30 and 95 percent, the official added.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 28.4 degrees, a notch above average, while the minimum was recorded at 10.8 degrees, two notches below average.
