Duchess Kate declines freebie clothing from Kardashian Kollection
Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly refused to accept all the free clothes gifted by Kim Kardashian from her latest fashion collection.
According to a palace insider the Royal- who is admired for her impeccable style - sent back all the Kardashian Kollection clothes, which features a lot of figure-hugging silhouettes, with leopard print and studs, as it is not exactly appropriate for a member of the Royal family.
"Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket," the Daily Mail quoted a palace insider as telling 'The Examiner.'
The source further added, that the reality star in an attempt to get a new royal best friend out of her recent trip to London, also invited the 30-year-old over for tea, which once again she politely declined.
On the other hand, a friend close to Kardashian declined the claims of the lunch invitation.
"Kim never asked Kate to lunch. She was there (in England) working for a few days," the newspaper quoted a friend as telling the Daily Mail.
However, a representative of Duchess Kate asserted that it is against the policy of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to accept gifts from people whom they don't know personally.
"In general terms, the policy of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is not to accept any unsolicited gifts unless the sender is known personally to His or Her Royal Highness. Any such gifts are returned to the sender with thanks and an explanation of Their Royal Highnesses' policy," the representative said.
