President's visit to Maharashtra cancelled

President Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Maharashtra has been cancelled, a Rashtrapati Bhawan spokesperson said today.
"President's visit to Maharastra has been cancelled," Mr Venu Rajamony, Press secretary to the President, said.
The President was to leave for a two day visit to mumbai and Shirdi this morning during which he was to give away the Jamnalal Bajaj awards this evening and also inaugurate the Shree Sai Nivas Dharamshala in Shirdi tomorrow.
