NBA: Miami Heat beat Houston Rockets 113-110
LeBron James scored a season-high 38 points to help the Miami Heat beat the Houston Rockets 113-110 in a NBA basketball game Monday night.
James scored 32 of his 38 points in the second half, including the winning basket with 18.6 seconds remaining to lead the team to victory at Toyota Center, Xinhua reports.
Heat centre Chris Bosh had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Dwyane Wade added 19 points.
The Rockets did everything they wanted, but still fell short of beating the Heat. The team had gone from down 17 in the opening minutes to an eight-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.
The Rockets' last chance for victory was unsuccessful when guard James Harden missed a 3-pointer while being closely defended by James.
Chandler Parsons scored a career-high 25 points and Omer Asik had 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Rockets.
