10 killed in cracker factory explosion in Uttar Pradesh

At least ten people were killed and more than 12 injured in a blast at an illegal cracker manufacturing factory in Bela area of the district late last night.
Police sources here today said that the incident took place at the residence of one Moujilala and his brother at Himmatpurwa village.
Two houses were totally damaged in the explosion.
The deceased included three women and five children.
Meanwhile, the district authorities have suspended the entire police chowki of Yakubpur, which is just 50 meters away from the spot in connection with the incident.
