The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)will start selling India International Trade Fair (IITF) entry tickets for Business Days - November 14 to 18 - from November 14 onwards from 26 Metro stations, whereas the sale of entry tickets for general public days - November 19 to 27 - will start from November 19 at all the Metro stations.
Entry tickets for business days will be available on price of Rs 400 at Rithala, Dilshad Garden, Jahangirpuri, HUDA City Centre, Noida City Centre, Anand Vihar, Central Secretariat, Inderlok, Kashmere Gate, Rajiv Chowk, Barakhamba, Saket, MG Road, Noida Sec-14, Vaishali, Rajori Garden, Janakpuri West, Dwarka Mor, Dwarka Sec-9, Mundka, Nangloi, Peeragrahi, Punjabi Bagh, Badarpur, Govindpuri and Lajpat Nagar Metro stations, a DMRC statement issued here today said.
However, the IITF entry tickets for general public days, which are priced at Rs 50 and Rs 30 on weekdays and Rs 80 and Rs 50 on weekends/holiday for an adult and a child respectively, will be available at all the Metro stations.
These tickets can be purchased from Customer Care Centres from 0900 to 1600 hrs on weekdays and from 0900 to 1400 hrs on weekends, it said.
The IITF tickets will be sold from stations only for the same day as the tickets are day-specific only and no advance tickets will be available for sale.
The DMRC is expecting massive crowds to use the Pragati Maidan Metro station and therefore additional ticket counters will be opened there.
Additional DMRC officers and staff, customer facilitation agents and security staff will also be deployed at all stations, the press note added.
