Communist Parties practice untouchability politics in the country, Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani opined today.
Speaking at the concluding session of the 30th anniversary of Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram (BVK) at Kerala University Senate Hall here, he said it was high time that the 'untouchability' prevailing among political parties in the country was ended.
"Though the Communist Party supported Jana Sangh in its earlier days, now Communist Parties in the country practice untouchability politics," he said, adding mutual respect and friendship should be there in matters of policies.
Stressing the importance of corruption-free administration, clean politics and strength of Indian democracy, he said India and China would emerge as super powers in the 21st century.
BVK was dedicated to the cause of formulating and disseminating thoughts and ideas having a positive bearing on nation-building activities, he added.
