Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, who completed two years in the office today, has reiterated that the state will be free from load shedding by December.
"We are committed to our goal of making Maharashtra free from load shedding by December," Mr Chavan told reporters were called at his residence on the occasion of Diwali.
The Chief Minister admitted that four seats in the Cabinet were lying vacant, including one of NCP and three of Congress, and added that reshuffle may take place in due course of time.
