Congress leader compares Modi with 'monkey'
Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Arjun Modhwadia on Thursday started a new controversy as he compared Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi with a 'monkey'.
Modhwadia compared Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to a lion.
Without taking names, Modhwadia said a 'monkey' sitting on the top of a tree was trying to challenge the 'lion'.
"Lions cannot climb trees. However, monkeys can never become a lion," Modhwadia said while addressing a rally in the state.
He said 'some people are bitten by dogs and they are thinking of becoming the Prime Minister'.
Modhwadia even said Modi should be given a Nobel Prize for telling lies.
Modi earlier sparked a controversy when he called Minister of State for Human Resources Development Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar a 'Rs 50-crore girlfriend'.
