Prince William's Wildlife Conservation Charity Hosts Baby Shower For Orphaned Elephants
NEW YORK: The African wildlife conservation organization, Tusk USA, announced the launch of a baby shower for elephants to support Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya: https://donate.tusk.org/elephantbabyshower
Tusk, whose mission is to advance innovation to protect Africa's wildlife and natural habitat, is a proud partner of Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, located in Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy in northern Kenya. Reteti is the first community-owned elephant orphanage in Africa.This virtual baby shower includes a gift registry for supporters to contribute to the rescue and rehabilitation of elephants orphaned due to poaching, disease and drought in Kenya.
For supporters in New York City, a baby shower event will be held at 6pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the children's clothing boutique Le Petit Kids located at 156 West 72nd Street: www.lepetitkids.com.
Tusk USA has also partnered with The Elephant Pants, a clothing company dedicated to protecting the world's elephants for this initiative. In addition to awareness-raising, The Elephant Pants donate a portion of every sale to partners working to create a sustainable future for elephants.
