Whitlock Wins Two Awards at Microsoft 2017 Partner Conference
RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 5, 2017 : Whitlock, a video collaboration company, reports that it received two awards at Microsoft Inspire in July. One for the top U.S. sales and the other for the top global sales partner for the Microsoft Surface Hub.Awards were presented at two different ceremonies during the conference that gathered more than 17,000 attendees.
"We were an early adopter of the Microsoft platform for devices and cloud services," states John Bailey, Whitlock VP of Technology. "This gave us a first mover's advantage to support key enterprise customers. We also adopted these new technologies internally to improve our team collaboration and service delivery to customers both in the US and around the world."
Microsoft announced a Partner First message at Inspire, where they are shifting their sales and marketing strategies to support their top partner channels. Whitlock has been in the audio, video and now UC industry for more than 60 years, and the company is a founding partner of the Global Presence Alliance. This history of strong relationships and global partnerships positions the company for continued support of the Microsoft message.

In addition to winning awards and being designated as a Modern Workplace Partner, Whitlock also earned an upgraded status from a U.S. member to a global one, joining the Microsoft Multinational Partner Network (MPN).
