Election Commission calls an all-party meet to discuss 2014 polls strategy
The Election Commission of India met state and union leaders of all political parties on Tuesday ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2014.
Representatives of all recognised political parties attended the meeting that was called to discuss ways to ensure free and fair elections.
With just about three months left for the polls, the meeting also reviewed preparations.
The Election Commission has also already indicated last month that the general elections would be held in five phases from mid-April.
The all-party meeting comes a day ahead of the last sitting of the 15th Lok Sabha before the general elections.
