Scar-Jo's Super Bowl ad gets censored for naming competitors
Scarlett Johansson's advertisement for SodaStream has been censored before being aired for naming competitors.
SodaStream had banked the 29-year-old actress near universal appeal for their Super Bowl ad campaign.
In the advertisement, Johansson clad in a fluffy white bathrobe explains how the at-home carbonated beverage maker works, after which she wonders aloud how she could make the ad go viral.
Johansson then takes off the bathrobe revealing a tight black dress and suggestively sucks on a straw saying "Sorry, Coke and Pepsi" and that line is to be cut from the commercial.
SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum told USA Today that advertisers in America do mention a competitor, adding that this is the kind of stuff that happens in China and that he is disappointed as an American.
