NCP demands public apology from Goa cabinet minister
State Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today demanded that Goa cabinet Minister, who posted an old photograph with PM Narendra Modi and claimed it to be a photograph at Rastrapati Bhavan at the 'swearing in ceremony' of the PM, to apologise, as the falsity raises pertinent questions.
The state NCP unit vice president and Chief Spokesperson, Trajano D'Mello, in the presence of president, Nilkanat Haldnekar, speaking to the mediapersons said, 'it is a serious issue and the attire of the Prime Minister while taking the oath at the 'swearing in ceremony' at Rastrapathi Bhavan exposes the lie. It is a shame that a Goa Cabinet minister goes to an extent of posting an old photograph and claiming to be at Rastrapati Bhavan during the 'swearing in ceremony.'
D'Mello appealed that the Chief Minister should investigate into it and proper action to be taken against the cabinet minister.
'I am affected because Narendra Modi is Prime Minister of India,' D' Mello added.
