Samajwadi Party, which has gone on a self-assessment mode after the Lok Sabha election debacle, today announced to hold district-level meetings to highlight the achievements of the Akhilesh Yadav government on June 2.


"There is a need to aware the people about the good works done by the SP government during a short period of two years. People should know the real thing about development and not the fake one circulated by the BJP leaders during the election campaign," said SP state spokesperson Rajendra Choudhury here.

He said after the June 2 programme at all the district headquarters,party would hold similar programmes at the block level next month.

Giving a long list of the achievements of his government, Mr Choudhury said distribution of laptops to students, unemployment allowances,Kanyavidyadhan and other schemes have been started in the state and now other states are following it.
