Heat wave conditions prevail in North Coastal Andhra
Heat wave conditions prevailed today in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh of Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts, including the steel city.
According to Weather Office Sources here people in most parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh were reeling under sweltering weather as day temperature rose sharply.
Three North Coastal districts were reeling under severe heat wave conditions with temperatures in almost all the districts hovering between 39 and 41 degree Celsius. The heat wave conditions made life miserable in the city
Meanwhile, the well marked low pressure area over central Bay of Bengal persisted, the system would move in westerly direction and weaken into a low pressure area during the next 24 hours.
A trough at 0.9 km extends from the above cyclonic circulation to Rayalaseema with an embedded cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Telangana.
