YSRCP MLA appeals for flyover at Durga Temple
Newly-elected Vijayawada (West) YSR Congress party MLA J Jaleel Khan today appealed to theChief Minister designate N Chandrababu Naidu to construct a flyover bridge at Durga temple on NH 5.
Addressing a press conference here, he recalled Chandrababu Naidu himself participated in a dharna programme demanding construction of flyover bridge and assured to construct the same, if voted to power.
Mr Jaleel Khan said the drainage system in Vijayawada (West) constituency was in a poor state causing rain water getting clogged at various places, including at KL Rao Nagar and Bodemma hotel and urged to widen the outdated drainage system in the old town area.
Coming down heavily on his predecessor MLA, he alleged that during the five years the former MLA did not strive for the development of the constituency. He collected crores of rupees from various organisations and traders including KBN college and iron traders as election fund.
Attributed the TDP's election triumph to the Modi-Pawan Kalyan factor, Mr Jaleel Khan pointed out that the difference of voting percentage between YSRCP and TDP was very less. Mr Khan alleged that a newspaper was publishing misleading information about his health and made it clear that he was healthy.
