Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan today released the Souvenir of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) at Raj Bhavan here.

Prof L Venugopal Reddy, Chairman, Prof P Vijaya Prakash, Vice Chairman, (APSCHE) and Prof K Sateesh Reddy, Secretary, (APSCHE) and others participated in the function.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor congratulated APSCHE and said with renewed vigour and with their rich experience they should take the higher education to greater heights.

Prof Venugopal Reddy said APSCHE had been striving hard for the furtherance of higher education in the State with the coordination of the government departments, universities, central agencies and service associations.

The Council has played a key role in providing access and quality of higher education in the state during 25 years of its journey through innovation of courses, updating syllabi, training programs to teachers, conducting seminars on subject themes, reforms in examinations and admissions including CETs, studies on academic and administrative issues of higher education.

All these aspects were compiled in the Souvenir for future guidance and record, he added.
