Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj state committee meetings would be held in Tirupathi on May 25 and 26.

Informing this in a statement here today, Panchayat Raj Chamber President and former MLC Yelamanchili Babu Rajendra Prasad said a comprehensive debate would be held and an action plan would be formulated on further strengthening the Panchayat Raj institution in the state during the meetings.

He said in the backdrop of division of the state, separate state committees to residuary Andhra state and Telangana state would be constituted.

Mr Prasad said the resolutions of the meetings would be submitted to the Chief Minister designates N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao.
