With a view to eliminate poverty in the rural areas of the state, Haryana government has launched a new campaign in collaboration with Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) under Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission.


Chief Executive Officer of Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission, TK Sharma said a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has also been signed between the State Government and SERP in this regard.

The directions have been issued for linking the poor families of Kalanaur and Lakhanmajra block of Rohtak district to the mission.

Under the mission, the poor families residing in the rural families would be identified and Self Help Groups would be constituted. Based on these groups, institutions would be set up at block level by the poor people and for the poor people.
