Mulayam asks legislators to warn people about BJP conspiracy
Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today called on the party legislators not to get disturbed with the defeat in the elections and asked them to warn the people about the conspiracy of the BJP.
He asked the legislators to serve the people of their constituencies and solve their problems.
"Politics is the hardest work and SP legislators should give justice to the people. You must all warn the people about BJP and make them aware abot how the BJP leaders had said lies and conspired during the entire election campaigning," he told the legislators here today at the state party office.
"There is no other party as strong as SP and Uttar Pradesh has moved ahead under its rule in the past two years. Ups and down are general phenomenon in politics and we should not be concerned of this defeat. I have also faced several defeat in my political career," he said.
Reviewing the party's performance in the Lok Sabha elections with the legislators, Mr Yadav said the leaders should work for the people and serve the society besides spread the ideology of the Samajwadi Party.
"I appeal to every cadre and leader of the party to face the challenge before the party. We don't do politics for any cheap publicity but will stick to our agenda to serve the poor and farmers and fight for their rights," he said.
