Low pressure area concentrates into depression
The low pressure area lying over East Central Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood has concentrated into a depression over East Central Bay of Bengal and lay centered at 0830 hrs of today about 490 kms of North North West of Port Blair.
It may intensify further into a deep depression during next 24 hours. It would move near northwards for some time and then North North East wards towards Myanmar and adjoining Bangladesh coast during next 48 hours, the Met Office said in a bulletin here. Under its influence, rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema during next 48 hours. The sky condition would be partly cloudy. Rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of city.
Maximum and Minimum temperatures would be around 39 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
Observations recorded till 0830 hrs today indicated that rain occurred at a few places over Rayalaseema and at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the bulletin said.
