Endoscopic ENT Clinic was opened at South Western Railway Central Hospital here as part of up-gradation of medical facilities.

SWR Chief Medical Director Dr D P Pande, speaking on occasion, said the new equipment would help in diagnosis of diseases, early detection of cancer and treatment.

Hubli Railway Division caters to one lakh Railway population and induction of this equipment will help needy beneficiaries, he added.

Dr Pande called upon doctors to work as a team and provide the benefit of quality Health Care by upgrading Medical facilities.

Dr M N Ramakanth, Chief Medical Superintendent, Hubli Division, who is also an ENT Surgeon, stated that early cases of Cancer can be detected for effective treatment.

Endoscopic examination recording will be baseline investigation for further progress of treatment of the cases and will also instill confidence in patient.
