An earthquake measuring 4 magnitude on the Richter Scale has jolted Kullu twice in Himachal Pradesh since last night, sources in the Mausam Kendra said.


The sources today said the first quake hit the region at 2153 Hrs last night and the intensity is slight.

The Epicentre was 31.9 degree North latitude and 77.1 East longitude. The focal depth was 5 km, the sources added.

The second quake occurred at 0323 Hrs in the early hours of today. The epicentre was 31.9 degree north latitude and 77.1 degrees east longitude. The focal depth was 5 kms. The intensity was also slight in nature, the sources said, adding there was no no reports of any loss of human life nor any damages in the region.
