Madhya Pradesh's Director General of Police Nandan Dubey today said the hearing of the arrested activists of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) would be conducted through video-conferencing.

Mr Dubey was talking to mediapersons after taking part in the convocation ceremony of the Police Training College here.

Commenting about the recent shouting of treason-related slogans by SIMI men on Bhopal District Court premises, he said the terrorists raised the slogans when they saw media cameras.

Mr Dubey said the hearing of SIMI activists would henceforth be conducted over video-conferencing in order to avoid such antics.
