Former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today categorically said the Jitan Ram Manjhi government would not run from his remote control and it would take all decisions on its own.

Mr Kumar, after oath taking ceremony of new Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, told mediapersons in Rajbhawan premises that the new government in Bihar would not run from his remote control.

"All decisions would be taken by Jitan Ram Manjhi government on its own and it would not be influenced by any corner," Mr Kumar said dismissing allegations of opposition that the Manjhi government would be run by him from remote control.

Mr Kumar, however, maintained that he would play the role of guard if any attempt was made from any corner to disturb the government.

The new government would work well for the development of Bihar, Mr Kumar exuded confidence.

Former Chief Minister said he was feeling relaxed after relinquishing the post and would devote his time to strengthen the JD(U).
